On September 28th, we visited PostNord’s e-commerce forum E-handelsforum 2017 in Borås. It was extra exciting this year, since PostNord launched Multi-Carrier Checkout, a service and feature that has been developed together with LogTrade to help move consumer-driven logistics forward.

The theme for this year’s event was customer insight, and PostNord had invited interesting keynote speakers that talked about everything from the role of marketing to how people are subconsciously affected by different messages.

We were, naturally, most interested in the subject of consumer-driven logistics and the launch of Multi Carrier Checkout.

Multi-Carrier Checkout is a feature that makes it possible for the online retailer to give their customers more freedom at the checkout. Thanks to Multi Carrier Checkout, the customer can choose which carrier they want to deliver their goods in the website’s checkout feature. The carrier alternatives that your customers get to choose from is naturally up to you as the seller. Multi Carrier Checkout is, of course, carrier-neutral.

There were about 700 e-commerce companies present at E-handlesforum 2017.
